5 Recruiting Leaders You should be following on social media

Social media is a major focus for the recruiting industry, and is a part of every recruiting trend professionals are talking about for 2016.

Whether you’re talking about employer branding, finding passive talent, keeping up on human resources (HR) and recruiting news, or diving into the social recruiting game, having a social media presence is becoming more of a necessity than an additive for recruiting professionals.

With 67 percent of job seekers using Facebook, 45 percent using Twitter and 40 percent using LinkedIn – numbers reported in the Jobvite 2015 Jobseeker Nation Survey – recruiters can’t ignore the wide talent pool using social networks.

Leveraging this talent pool is difficult without a strong social presence of your own. To bolster your own social media newsfeeds, these five recruiting professionals are a ‘must’ for every recruiting professional to follow.

Matt Buckland, Head of Talent and Recruiting, Lyst
